SUMMARY:Fun Shoot and Awards Day
DESCRIPTION:Fun Shoot and Awards Day. \nMuster for the fun shoot using various types of targets will be at 9.00am. Please be at the club by 8.30am to assist with setting up the targets.The shoot will take about 2 hours and will be followed by the award presentations for the 2024 competitions. This will include medals for each division and personal best badges. \nMedals will be awarded in all age and equipment divisions for the Field and Unmarked Safari competitions [maximum three (3) places each]. If there is only one competitor in any division\, provided they have recorded three (3) scores\, a medal will be awarded. \nPersonal Best (PB) badges will be awarded even if only one competition has been shot. Personal best scores are recorded each year and provided the current year’s score exceeds the previous PBs a badge will be awarded. \nA Most Improved badge will be awarded for the greatest improvement\, over all divisions\, in each type of competition from the first score recorded in 2024 and consistency of shooting. To be eligible for this award the required number of competitions must be completed.

DESCRIPTION:Round 5\, this is our last Unmarked Safari event for 2024. Visitors are welcome to compete in this event. \nUnmarked distance.\n40 target competition – 2 x 20 target rounds.\nRound 1 = 2 arrow shoot per target – Both arrows scored.\nRound 2 = 1 arrow shot per target.\nVarious 2D target faces will be used. \nEQUIPMENT DIVISIONS:\nCompound sighted\, Compound unsighted\, Recurve sighted\, Recurve unsighted\, Traditional i.e. longbow. Novice Category. \nGates open at 7.30am.\nRegistration 8am.\nPractise 8am – 8.30am.\nMuster 8.45am.\nCompetition 9am (Start round 1). \nA short break will be taken between rounds\, please bring your own food and water. \nCost is $10 for members and $15 for visitors.
