Club Membership

To join Tuggerah Lakes Field Archers it is not necessary to be a member of an archery association as we are an independent club. However, all new people who join the club must become probationary members and serve a probationary period of three (3) months. This period gives you the opportunity to try archery with experienced archers who will guide you and advise you on your equipment requirements.

Probationary membership fees are a quarter of the annual membership fees. The membership fee also provides insurance coverage.

Probationary Membership fees for the “three-month period” are:

Adult   $25.00

Junior or full-time student $12.50

Family $43.75

Non-shooting member $8.75*

*Persons who do not wish to shoot with the bow and arrow, or are parents/guardians of members under 18 years of age are eligible to apply for non-shooting membership. A non-shooting member shall enjoy all rights and privileges of the club and be entitled to put motions and to exercise a vote in club decisions. A non-shooting member shall be eligible to hold executive office with the exception of the position of president or vice president.

At the conclusion of the probationary period if you wish to continue with the club the balance of the membership fee due is paid (pro rata where applicable) – membership year is from 1 July to 30 June.
Equipment is supplied by TLFA while training probationary members. If you have your own equipment, this will be checked prior to your using it at the club for safety reasons.

Individual and/or Family Membership Forms can be found on our Document Downloads Page.

TLFA generally meets twice a month on Sunday for coaching. Before coming to the club for the first time please contact us to ensure that a coach is available to assist you. Coaches are usually available between 9.00am and 10.30am Sundays (see our calendar for coaching days).
